The short version
This site is informational. By using it, you agree to act in good faith, not break the law, and not abuse our infrastructure. The site is provided “as is” without warranties. We're based in Alabama, and Alabama law governs anything contentious.
Who these terms apply to
These terms apply to anyone who visits or uses c2techsys.com. They cover the website itself — the marketing pages, the contact form, the remote support page, and the staff-only tools page.
If you're a C2 client, the services we provide to you (managed IT, cybersecurity, cloud, VoIP, etc.) are governed by your separate Master Services Agreement and any Statements of Work — not by these website terms. Where the two conflict for any service-related question, your engagement agreement wins.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Submit false or misleading information through the contact form.
- Attempt to circumvent the password gate on the staff tools page, or otherwise probe the site for vulnerabilities without our written permission.
- Scrape or systematically harvest content from this site for training generative AI models or building competitive datasets.
- Use the contact form, remote support page, or any other interactive element to send spam, malware, or harassing communications.
- Reverse engineer, copy, or republish any portion of the site (including custom code, design system, or branded assets) without our written permission.
Intellectual property
The C2 Technology Systems name, logo, color palette, and trade dress are our property. The site's code, layout, and original written content are also ours, except where third-party trademarks are clearly indicated (e.g., partner logos and product names belong to their respective owners).
You may link to this site freely. You may quote short excerpts of the content with attribution. You may not republish the content in full or pass it off as your own.
Third-party services and links
The site references and links to third-party services we use or partner with — Microsoft 365, Wasabi, Fortinet, Huntress, Adobe, Dropbox, Barracuda Networks, Arrow, Zoho Assist, Cloudflare, SMTP2GO, and others. We don't control those services and aren't responsible for their content or behavior. Their terms apply to your use of them.
Submissions through the contact form
When you submit information through the contact form, you confirm that:
- The information is accurate and you're authorized to provide it.
- You agree we may contact you about your inquiry by phone, email, or both.
- The submission is not confidential and doesn't create any obligation on our part to pursue an engagement.
Remote support sessions
Our remote support page brokers a connection between you and a C2 technician through Zoho Assist. By starting a session, you authorize the technician to view and operate your device for the duration of the session, subject to:
- The session ends when you disconnect, when the technician disconnects, or when the connection drops.
- You retain the right to end the session at any time using the disconnect button in the Zoho Assist client.
- We'll only do what you authorize verbally or in writing. We'll not change configurations, install software, or access files outside the scope of the issue you contacted us about without your okay.
Detailed terms specific to support sessions are in your engagement agreement (if you're a client) or in the verbal authorization you provide at session start.
Disclaimers
The site and its content are provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
We use reasonable efforts to keep information on the site current and accurate, but we don't guarantee it is. Service availability, response times, prices, and partner relationships described on the marketing pages are illustrative — your actual engagement terms come from your signed agreement.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, C2 Technology Systemsand its officers, employees, and contractors are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the site, even if we've been advised of the possibility of such damages.
Our total liability arising from your use of the site (separate from any contracted services) is capped at $100 USD.
Governing law and venue
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Alabama, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute arising from your use of the site will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Alabama, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected in the effective date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the site after a change constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
