Session has to be started by you. Tech can't connect without your active permission and 6-digit code.

Common questions.

Do I need to install anything permanently?
No. Zoho Assist runs a small, temporary client that exits when the session ends. Nothing remains on your machine.
Will I see what the tech is doing?
Yes — you have full visibility throughout the session. You see every cursor movement, every click, every command typed.
Can I end the session at any time?
Yes, instantly. There's a disconnect button visible the entire time. The session also auto-ends if either side closes the window.
What if I can't get the session started?
Call us at (205) 776-2660. After-hours rings through to on-call — we won't leave you stuck.
Is my data safe during the session?
Sessions are end-to-end encrypted (TLS 1.2+ in transit, AES-256 at rest). No screen recordings are kept unless you explicitly request one for your own records.
Do you support Mac and Windows?
Both — plus iOS, Android, Linux, and Chrome OS. Zoho Assist runs anywhere a modern browser does.
